I was born into a real estate family and grew up in Albany. My father was the owner of Compass Realty right off Solano Avenue. I vividly recall racing there after school to be his “assistant,” answering his phone and then listening to him talk to his clients. He loved his work. By the time I was a young teen, I was holding open houses for him. Learning from my father, as well as working on family real estate projects, gave me an appreciation and understanding of the business from the inside out. Before I moved into Real Estate professionally, I built a successful Holistic Health business in Albany, which included Coaching. I enjoyed helping people to dream big, clarify, and achieve their goals. I became skilled at deep listening, coaching my clients through transition, and supporting their personal and professional transformations. These skills combined with my tenacity and sharp negotiation skills make me an excellent Real Estate Professional today. I am grateful to work with a diverse range of clients, within the community that I love. I donate a portion of every commission to local charitable organizations through a program called Community Funds.
I live in the El Cerrito hills with my family. I am a mother of two small children who teach me so much about myself and the world around me. My husband is a Statistician and Lecturer at UC Berkeley. They are amazing human beings, and inspire me to be a better person every day. As a family, we enjoy going to local parks, or taking a day trip to the beach. We are foodies and love to cook at home, or go out on the town. Our favorite family activity is going to see musical performances.
I am very passionate about issues of sustainability and environmental preservation. I love to shop at farmer’s markets and support small farms and local artisans. I believe in giving back. I serve on the Ecology Center’s Community Advisory Board. I am lucky to be an active volunteer in both of my children’s schools. I started a Green Group at our Preschool, helping to eliminate toxins and work on sustainability issues. I regularly volunteer at our elementary school within the classroom, on several committees, and again, on sustainability issues. I love to connect with friends, hang out in nature, and seek out treasures at estate sales or thrift stores. I am obsessed with houses and love to tour as many as I can. Lucky me, it’s also my job!
